Maria Letizia Mariani

Maria Letizia Mariani is a member of the Board of Directors of Angelini Holding S.p.A.

Maria Letizia Mariani is a manager with solid international experience in the technology, lighting, and sustainability sectors. Born in Rome in 1960, she graduated with honors in Natural Sciences in 1984 from the University of Rome "La Sapienza."

After initial experience in scientific research, she began her career in 1986 at Rank Xerox, holding technical and commercial positions. In 1989, she joined Apollo Computer as marketing manager and, following the acquisition of the company, moved to Hewlett-Packard, where she remained until 2010. In over 20 years at HP, she developed expertise in sales, marketing, services, software, and general management, working both in Italy and abroad.

In 2011, he joined Philips as Vice President & General Manager Lighting for Italy, Greece, and Israel. From 2014 to 2019, he was Executive Vice President & General Manager Lighting Europe.
She then took on global roles at Signify (a spin-off of Philips Lighting), including Chief Brand, Marketing, Strategy, Communication and Sustainability Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and CEO of the Conventional Business Division.
She was also a member of the Signify Board of Management until May 2024.

At the same time, she held top positions in other companies in the sector: she was President of Luceplan (2011–2015) and President and CEO of Ilti Luce (2013–2015).

From 2015 to 2024, she was a member of the Board of Directors of Prysmian Group, serving on the Control and Risk Committee (2015–2021) and the Sustainability Committee (since 2020), which she chaired from 2021, and Lead Independent Director from the same year.
