Rome, February 26, 2026 – An international program designed for young professionals with three years of work experience, combining international advanced management education with hands-on corporate exposure: this is the "Angelini Academy Gateway. Your bridge to succeed', a bridge between personal aspirations and career opportunities within the organization. An initiative promoted by Angelini Academy, part of Angelini Industries, a multinational industrial group with 5,600 employees, active in 21 countries in the health, industrial technology and consumer goods sectors.
The project provides 10 scholarships to young professionals who will participate in an international training program that combines classroom learning and on-the-job experience. Participants will have to successfully complete the admission process for the International MBA at IE Business School.
It will kick-off in July 2026 with two weeks of training in Rome, at the Casa Angelini headquarters, a unique opportunity to meet the Top Management of the Group and learn about emerging trends in the life sciences and industrial robotics sectors. From September 2026, the professionals selected by Angelini Academy will fly to Madrid, to take part in IE Business School’s full-time International MBA program. Program participants will engage in 11 months of classroom learning in which they will acquire the fundamentals that define a true global business mindset and customize their journey with choices including consulting, entrepreneurship, tech, or marketing. The Angelini initiative then concludes with a 3-6 month internship in one of Angelini Industries' operating companies.
With this initiative, Angelini Academy aims to support high-potential young professionals, interested in growing sectors such as life sciences and industrial robotics, and to accelerate their career development. The program is designed to be accessible also to those who may not have the financial means to participate, provided they demonstrate the motivation to excel, in line with the values that define Angelini Industries. With a total investment of € 1 million, Angelini Academy will fully fund the training program (including living expenses) for young people who pass the selection process and have an ISEE-ISPE of less than €50,000. On the other hand, 75% of the training costs will be covered by young people selected with an ISEE-ISPE of more than €50,000.
"Attracting and engaging young talent, together with developing their skills, are crucial aspects for the growth of our Group and this is the reason why we are increasingly committed to supporting them in the development of their professional profiles," observes Sergio Marullo di Condojanni, CEO of Angelini Industries. "Companies must respond to the new needs of an ever-changing work environment with new training models, to be developed in close collaboration with the academic world, capable of combining new frontiers in training, multidisciplinary approaches, and an international vocation."
"The Angelini Academy Gateway aims to bridge the gap between career development and young talent, offering them the opportunity to access a training and business environment in which they can fully express their potential," comments Marco Morbidelli, CEO of Angelini Academy. We partnered with IE Business School because we found in them a shared commitment to supporting talented and motivated young individuals, regardless of their financial means. At Angelini, selected candidates can immediately put their skills into practice through tailored internships that align with both their aspirations and our business needs
"I am proud to contribute to this new phase of Angelini Academy in my role as President and I thank Sergio Marullo di Condojanni and Thea Paola Angelini for the trust they have placed in me," said Professor Andrea Prencipe. "Corporate academies play a crucial role in developing skills and knowledge needed to keep pace with technological innovation. For this reason, they must increasingly open up to international collaboration with the academic and university sector, such as the partnership established with IE University in Madrid."
“At IE Business School we strive to attract the best talent and connect them with winning industry players. Doing so with Angelini in life sciences and industrial robotics is a unique opportunity for impact-driven MBA candidates,” said Lee Newman, Dean of IE Business School. “This collaboration reflects how we prepare leaders at IE: connecting rigorous management education with real-world challenges so participants build the mindset, skills, and confidence to create meaningful impact from day one.”
This project forms part of the extensive academic portfolio that Angelini Academy has been developing since 2018: In 2025, more than 500 Group employees, from recent graduates to senior leaders, took part in training programs, for a total of approximately 10,000 hours of learning delivered. With the launch of the "Angelini Academy Gateway. Your bridge to succeed', the company is also opening up its training programs to the external market, embracing an 'open education' approach. The aim is to build strong connections between the skills in demand and those offered, between education and the world of work, between aspirations and opportunities, making high-quality education more accessible and turning it into a powerful driver for growth and personal achievement.
The call for applications will be published on Friday, March 6, 2026, both on the Angelini Academy website (https://www.angeliniacademy.com/) che sul sito di IE Business School (https://www.ie.edu/business-school/programs/mba/international-mba/).
