Angelini Holding: Francesco Bianco appointed Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Effective August 1, Francesco Bianco, 53, from Padua, will serve as CHRO of Angelini Holding. Marco Morbidelli will continue his collaboration as Senior Advisor to the Board.

Rome, June 19, 2025 - Effective August 1, Francesco Bianco, 53, from Padua, will serve as CHRO of Angelini Holding. After gaining experience in the Human Resources Department of Gruppo Coin, Francesco joined Vodafone Italy in 2000 and then expanded his experience internationally by holding several HR leadership roles, including HR Director in Vodafone Ireland, before moving to the Netherlands as HR and Property Director in 2011. He continued his career within the Vodafone Group, moving to London after the acquisition of Cable & Wireless Worldwide as Director of Human Resources and Property for Cable & Wireless Worldwide. In May 2013, he was appointed Director of Human Resources for Vodafone Group Technology, and subsequently Director of Human Resources for the Vodafone Europe Cluster in 2015 and Director of Human Resources for Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific in 2018.

Since November 1, 2019, always at Vodafone he has held the position of Global Director for Personnel and Organizational Development, and HR Director for Europe. Lastly, representing the Vodafone Group, he served on the boards of Safaricom PLC in Kenya and Vodacom Group in South Africa as a non-executive director and member of the nomination and compensation committee. Graduated in Law from the University of Padua, he completed the Business Strategy Executive Program at Maastricht University in 2006.

Marco Morbidelli will continue collaborating with Angelini and will play a key role as Senior Advisor to the Board, ensuring the successful completion of key organizational transformation processes by coordinating the dedicated project teams. He will also support Francesco Bianco during the onboarding process into the Group. In addition, Marco will lead the current Angelini Academy and oversee an ambitious growth and transformation project aimed at turning it into a leading and highly innovative player in the education field.
