Angelini Academy Gateway: a bridge between education, business and the future

The landscape and opportunities of a changing market
Italy is undergoing a profound phase of demographic and economic evolution, which is having a tangible impact on employment dynamics. Rising life expectancy and the progressive aging of the population are directly affecting the length of professional careers: according to estimates, by 2037 the retirement age could reach 68 (MEF 2025 - based on ISTAT 2023).
Added to this scenario is a clear mismatch between labor supply and demand: the skills sought by companies do not always align with the profiles available on the market, resulting in an estimated productivity loss of around 2.5% of annual GDP (Excelsior, 2023) . In the absence of structural alignment between the education system and the labor market, an increasing number of young people are choosing to invest in their own education, covering the costs themselves, in an effort to bridge this gap independently.
In this context, the establishment of Corporate Academies by companies has the dual objective of reducing skills mismatches and promoting talent attraction and retention, especially for the new generations of professionals entering the workforce.
Creating connections to generate value
It is in response to these transformations that Angelini Academy - the Angelini Industries company dedicated to Corporate Learning - is embarking on a new chapter of its journey. Through advanced content and learning methods, it aims to project itself toward an increasingly international dimension, with the goal of establishing itself as a benchmark in corporate training innovation even beyond national borders.
This trajectory is rooted in the Academy’s renewed purpose, which serves as its fundamental pillar and the guiding principle behind every decision: building bridges in education. Between schools and businesses, between adult generations and technology, between talent and career, between organizations and market evolution.
To translate this commitment into concrete actions, Angelini Academy invests in the development of strategic skills - whether new or not yet sufficiently widespread - recognized as essential drivers of productivity and competitiveness. To do so, it guides professionals along a path of continuous learning, designed to continue even in the advanced stages of their professional lives. All this is achieved through a pedagogical approach that integrates new technologies, interdisciplinary cross-fertilization, and the experimentation of cutting-edge educational models.
This consolidates a center of excellence, increasingly open to the market, oriented toward progress, and founded on the desire to make a substantial contribution to the educational system - one capable of preparing people to successfully face the challenges of a constantly evolving work environment.
An international path to nurture talent
To inaugurate this new direction, Angelini Academy has launched “Angelini Academy Gateway,” an initiative that will offer 10 young professionals with at least three years of work experience the opportunity to participate in a training and professional development program that includes enrollment in a Full-Time International MBA at IE University in Madrid.
The institution, a global leader in its field, shares principles and values fully aligned with the vision of the Angelini Group’s Corporate Academy. Its training approach, centered on individual development, takes the form of transformative learning experiences aimed at nurturing talent and preparing professionals capable of operating with awareness in complex and constantly changing contexts.
In particular, the Master’s program offers a personalized academic experience designed to nurture participants’ strengths and aspirations, unlock their potential, and consolidate the entrepreneurial and managerial expertise essential for operating in global and competitive markets.
In line with its integrated approach to education, Angelini Academy supports participants at every stage, starting with the selection process, through an onboarding and kick-off session held at Casa Angelini and site visits to some of the Group’s operating companies in Italy.
In addition to the MBA curriculum, selected candidates will take specialized modules focused on Life Sciences and Industrial Robotics, delivered by Angelini Academy.
The project continues even after graduation. Upon completion of the program, participants will undertake a 3- to 6-month internship within Angelini Industries’ operating companies worldwide, with the prospect of continuing their career within the Group, provided their performance and qualifications align with organizational needs.
Toward a new model of Corporate Training
Recognizing that competitive advantage is increasingly measured by the quality and up-to-date nature of companies’ and professionals’ skills, Angelini Academy has chosen to take on an active and structured role within the educational system. It does so through concrete initiatives, building solid bridges between education, business, and the market.
The “Angelini Academy Gateway” project is part of a broader vision aimed at strengthening the educational ecosystem and fostering continuous dialogue between new generations, the business sector, and the international landscape. This commitment helps make human capital a driver of sustainable growth and a factor of global attractiveness.
