Fabrizio Marchetti

He graduated in 1980 with a degree in economics from La Sapienza University of Rome and is a chartered accountant and auditor.

His professional activity mainly involved consulting for tax (compliance, planning, taxation of extraordinary transactions, litigation before the tax commissions), corporate and administrative/accounting matters; he also serves as a member of the board of statutory auditors or as a director or liquidator for companies and entities.

Formerly a partner at Arthur Andersen (tax sector), in 1990 he founded Studio Marchetti which is based in Rome with correspondents in the biggest Italian cities. Some of the major clients for whom he has worked or is currently working for include, in addition to the Angelini Industries Group: Cassa Galeno; AIM Group; CNP Group; Enel Group; Ericsson Group; Finmeccanica Group (Leonardo); Marconi Group; Retelit Spa; Sherwin Group; Zucchetti Groupi.

In the publishing/taxation and teaching field, he has collaborated with specialized journals, taught accounting and tax Law on master's degrees organized by IPSOA, taught accounting at high schools and collaborated with the University of Economics and Business in Rome as a professor of tax law.

Since 2016, he has been a sessional lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of the Universitas Mercatorum of Rome for the business management undergraduate degree, teaching accounting and financial statements subjects dealing with the aspects related to direct taxes and VAT.
