The Angelini Group at the B20 forum on the evolution of healthcare systems

Navigating the convergence to improve healthcare systems” is the title of the event organized today by the B20 Health & Life Sciences Task Force to discuss the evolution of healthcare systems.

This is the first of the B20-G20 dialog forums under the Italian Presidency. The government side was represented by the Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, and the Indonesian Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin. Indonesia, in fact, will pick up the baton from Italy at the end of the year to hold the next presidency of the G20.

In the discussion panel, the CEO of Angelini Holding, Sergio Marullo di Condojanni with a speech on "Digital and cultural drivers for a new patient-centric approach”, highlighted that “it’s every day clearer that the 20th century paradigm of healthcare, based on blockbuster drugs shaped in the form of a pill, has been breaking down and that personalization of care, prevention rather than cure, and listening to patients and their journeys is the new paradigm. The combination of the traditional health care environment and the new technologies will drive the change and will offer an opportunity to reimagine our current approach to cure”.
