50 Million steps for Epilepsy

Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological diseases with significant economic and social implications. It is the sixth most common disease in terms of mortality and over 400,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in Europe.

People with epilepsy worldwide number around 50 million; this is why, every year, the largest global patient association - International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) - promotes 50MillionSteps, an international initiative to raise awareness of the stigma that still surrounds the pathology.

How? By posting on social media the number of steps taken during the day, accompanying it with photos or small videos.

Angelini Pharma has long been engaged in awareness campaigns in this field and this year, given the social value of the initiative, Angelini Industries has decided to involve all the people of the Group, inviting them to take up the challenge of the 50 million steps.
